Ven-Floc™ is a pre-hydrated biopolymer blend with a natural ability to flocculate solids and de-water contaminated systems. Ven-Floc™ is a derivative of a high molecular weight biopolymer that is water soluble. This industrial-grade product is derived from chitosan, a polysaccharide obtained from chitin that is found in the exoskeleton of shellfish like shrimp or crabs. Ven-Floc™ is formed through a chemical derivatization of the chitosan molecule. Ven-Floc™ is a non-hazardous industrial grade, chitosan acetate designed for use in dewatering and flocculating applications. Ven-Floc™ is environmentally friendly and is biodegradable. Ven-Floc™ will work in both hard or soft water applications and no additions of salts are required to activate.
